Bo Gillis is running for Governor. Steve writes the speeches,
Sylvester runs the campaign and Bo plays the guitar. Everything is going according
to the plan until a hooker named Ada is setup with Bo one night. Even with
her past, Bo decides to marry her, must to the astonishment of everyone. After
the election, she has a created bio and is very adept at handling people.
Bo Gillis, as Governor, finds that he has little influence as Sylvester runs
the whole operation. Bo's function is only to sign what is given to him.
But while Bo is weak and fails to push his reforms, Ada is strong and adept
at doing what is best for Bo and her.

Stanley is a bellboy at the Fountainebleau Hotel in Miami

Private Meredith Bixby (Jerry Lewis) is so out
of step in the Army that his six weeks of planned basic training has now stretched
to 17 months. After he loses a tank, WAC Major Shelton, a psychologist, is
assigned to make a good soldier out of him. She requests Corporal Dolan and
Private Stan Wensalawsky to help with the training. Dolan and Stan both have
scores to settle with Bixby and their "guidance" leads to more mishaps. Sergeant
Pulley has them shipped out to Morocco. On leave in North Africa, Bixy
wanders alone into a bar, has a few Moroccan Delights, which he thinks are
malted milks, and becomes convinced that exotic singer-dancer Zita is THE
girl for him. To protect him, Dolan tells him some lies about Zita, and Bixby,
in despair, joins the Suicide Division of the Foreign Legion. He is kidnapped
by a band of Arabian plotters and, guarded by the knife-happy Abdul, is ordered
to assemble a stolen American cannon. Zita learns of his plight and gets
Dolan and Stan to join her in a rescue mission.

war party and the cavalry (who have come to Moccasin Flats to celebrate Texas'
statehood) and ultimately saves the town and gets his girl.

on the Moon The Americans have had to keep replacing their astronaut teams
because they quickly go crazy; they have been using only male astronauts on

The Russians, as godless Communists, are under no such constraints, and their
male-female team has remained well-adjusted At the start of the film, a male
and female American astronaut team is sent up to replace the sex-starved all-male
team. The government insists on them being married first to preserve morality.
Most of the story revolves around the eventual consummation of this marriage
of convenience, and around their relationship with their Russian neighbors,
who keep casually dropping by.

David Wilson is a university professor who is kissing one of his
students when his wife, Ann, walks in on them. She demands a divorce. David
turns to his old friend, a television writer, Michael Haney, who cooks up
a cover story. They convince Ann that David is working undercover for the
FBI, and that the kiss was part of a sting. The gullible Ann believes the
story. Later, when she sees David and Michael in a restaurant with two women,
she suspects that the women are spies, and passes David his empty gun. This
touches off a disturbance that is filmed by TV news crews. Some real Russian
spies think that David really is an FBI agent, and the spies grab the Wilsons
and Haney, take them to a secret chamber beneath the Empire State Building,
and give them truth serum. From there, the film continues to twist and turn
in wildly wacky ways.

is that his friends' wives have confused Jason with his television persona
and they keep popping up at his house ready to see what his bedside manner
