I Married a Witch

After an ancestor of Wallace Wooley has burned Jennifer, a witch and her father, they cursed his whole family, that the sons will always get the wrong wife. In the 20th century, the witch comes back to give Wallace Wooley a love drink, so he falls in love with her the night before his wedding to Estelle Masterson, but she gets the drink herself and falls in love with him. So the problems start for everybody: She has fallen in love, her father doesn't want her to marry Wallace, Estelle doesn't want to marry Wallace, Wallace stars falling in love with Jennifer, but he had to marry Estelle because he wants to become Senator, but he noticed that she isn't the right girl for him.

Slattery's Hurricane

A pilot wants a life of ease, flying for drug smugglers and looking the other way until his conscience is tweaked by a woman he has misused. He flies into the eye of a hurricane, thereby saving Miami and redeeming himself. The story unfolds in flashbacks as the pilot battles the storm and recalls his failures, including a love affair with the wife of his best friend.

A group of U.S. Army nurses leaves San Francisco for their tour of duty in Hawaii in December 1941. The attack on Pearl Harbor changes their destination, and their lives. Sent to Bataan, in the Philippines, the nurses are led by Lt. Janet Davidson. She is faced with untested nurses who expected an easy time in Honolulu, but who quickly become battle-weary veterans dealing with daily bombardments by the Japanese, overwhelmed by the numbers of wounded, and dwindling supplies. Some of "Davey's" unit also have to deal with romantic entanglements with men they met onboard ship. When Bataan falls, the American forces flee to the offshore island of Corregidor, where they find the Japanese assault just as intense.

Sullivan’s Travels

Sullivan is a successful, spoiled, and naive director of fluff films, with a heart-o-gold, who decides he wants to make a film about the troubles of the downtrodden poor. Much to the chagrin of his producers, he sets off in tramp's clothing with a single dime in his pocket to experience poverty first-hand, and gets some reality shock.
