They call themselves DC Star, and they make quite a name for themselves in the Washington D C area. Their exposure secures them a deal to write, record & perform the famous “ It’s Miller Time “ jingle for the well known brewery, that is followed by a deal with Escape Records to record and release a 5 song EP ( at that time the safest & most economical way of introducing a new act to the public ). This EP is released with a twist though, as it was a vinyl picture disc, making it a rather expensive EP, at list price of  7.99 ( EPs were usually between 4.99 – 5.99 as opposed to albums which were 7.99 – 9.99 at that time ). Still the EP sold quite well, and lead to a 2nd lp a year or so later. Shortly after that D C Star disbanded. Here on CD ( not a picture disc ) is that 5 song EP.
