It's the early days of the F.B.I. - federal agents working for the Department of Justice. Though they've got limited powers - they don't carry weapons and have to get local police approval for arrests - that doesn't stop fresh Law School grad Eddie Buchanan from joining up, and he encourages his former roommate James "Brick" Davis to do so as well. But Davis wants to be an honest lawyer, not a shyster, despite his ties to mobster boss McKay, and he's intent on doing so, until Buchanan is gunned down trying to arrest career criminal Danny Leggett. Davis soon joins the "G-Men" as they hunt down Leggett and his cronies Collins and Durfee, who are engaged in a crime and murder spree from New York to the midwest.

The Gate

While most of them come, Adam's attempt at reconciliation won't be easy

This is the sequel to the great Christmas movie. In it Kate Thornton was approached by a man named Victor Wainwright, who wanted to buy her late husband Adam's company. Kate refused the offer. Later, he sought her out, with the intention of starting a relationship. Some of her children are not sure that his intentions are noble, so they all come together at Christmas to protect Kate.

It's a spoof of the 50's musicals that were practically unspoofable in the first place. Enormously over-the- top it's nonetheless a great deal of fun; loud, brashy, colorful and vulgar. Travilla's costumes should give you a clue that it wasn't to be taken seriously. Monroe's principal costumer, he purposely spoofed himself with this picture. Relax and enjoy. Enjoy Paris in 1955 and delectable Jane and Jeanne.

George Washington Slept Here
    Starring: Jack Benny & Ann Sheridan

New Yorkers Bill and Connie Fuller have to move from their apartment. Without Bill's knowledge, Connie purchases a delapidated old farmhouse in Pennsylvania, where George Washington was supposed to have actually slept during the American Revolution. Much of the humor comes from the couple's many problems they encounter while trying to fix up the place.

Mare Winningham was nominated for an Oscar for her portrayal of the title character in this Indie feature from 1996, and Jennifer Jason Leigh gave one of her best performances ever. But as incredible as the movie itself was, the music was fantastic! Mare Winningham sang her folk numbers with a masterful charm at her craft. Jennifer Jason Leigh sings her rock numbers with an honest grit that reflects the emotions of the character, Sadie- Georgia’s sister, she plays. Included are performances by John Doe (of punk rock group, X, fame), Blues Great Jimmy Witherspoon, Smokey Hornet, & West Coast Folk Duo- Ranch Romance. A great soundtrack that is out of print, here it is for you on CD

She starts looking elsewhere herself.



Gidget Grows Up

After spending the last two years in Europe as an exchange student, Gidget returns home to California only to discover that things have changed. The letters she had been writing to her beloved "moondoggie" to try to make him jealous have had the wrong effect. Disillusioned with love, and after hearing a speech on television, she decides to make a real difference in the world by going to New York to become a youth worker at the United Nations. While there she has a proposal of marriage from an extremely wealthy Arabian Sheik, but instead she falls for a handsome but older Australian diplomat.

A poignant comedy about a mute who befriends Nicole, the little daughter of a prostitute. Gleason shows his considerable talents as an actor without uttering a sound as he plays the bumbling, kind-hearted janitor, Gigot. Gleason wrote the original story and music for this film.

The first female doctor in New York City comes up against prejudice from male counterparts who feel threatened by her skills. Eventually, though, they come to respect her and romance blossoms between her and the head doctor.


Girl on a Park Bench

When a beautiful socialite has her apartment rent go up due to the repeal of the city’s rent control laws, she takes her cause to City Hall. Finding no help from the Mayor, she takes on City Government, and sets up house in the city park. The press of course rallies to her side. When the Mayor orders her arrest, she then takes the fight to court. But there is one catch, she is falling in love w/ the City Attorney who’s prosecuting her. A classic TV teleplay from 1957.

She later discovers that Bruce is the big boss at her work (a research lab). Bruce hires Jennifer to be his biographer only to try and win her affections. There's a problem Bruce's friend General Wallace Bleeker believes she's a Russian spy and has her surveillanced. But when Jennifer catches on...Watch out!

The Glass Wall
    Starring: Gloria Grahame, Vittorio Gassman & Ann Robinson

Peter, a WW II 'displaced person' about to be deported jumps ship in New York harbor in an effort to find an ex-G.I named Tom whom he helped during the war and can prove Peter's right to legal entry in the United States. It is a race against time for if he can't Tom within 24 hours and prove his case, he will be branded a fugitive and will be permanently disqualified for U.S. citizenship. His quest leads him to befriending Maggie, a down-on-her-luck factory worker whom he rejuvenates through his good faith; a visit to a jazz club where Shorty Rogers and his band and trombonist Jack Teagarden are playing, and an interlude with a good- hearted burlesque dancer, Tanya Zakoyla, takes him to her mother's home for food and rest. The climax comes at dawn in the United Nations building (the "glass wall" of the title) where he goes to plead his case and that of all displaced persons.

Go West Young Lady
    Starring: Glenn Ford, Penny Singleton & Ann Miller

Federal Marshall Tex Miller, and his girl-friend Belinda Pendergast are having problems with the masked bandit 'Pecos Pete'. Penny Singleton is adorably ditzy as the heroine, Glenn Ford honed his comic skills as "the tenderfoot" and sparkling Ann Miller as the tart-tongued saloon-singer steals the show. The Sammy Cahn score is a treat, and Annie's tip-tapping with Allen Jenkins singing "I Wish That I could Be a Singing Cowboy" is one of the many highlights of this unique lark of a film.


Going Places

Mr. Mason is a salesman at Detridge & Frome who wants to advertise their line of riding clothes. Since they have the rights to famous jockey Peter Randall, who is in Australia, Peter will impersonate him at the Steeple Chase. At the event, he is invited to a party by Cora and sees young Ellen. Since all Ellen and Peter have in common is horses, he continues the charade to woo her. But two gamblers named Maxie and Duke, try to make money on the race by fixing him up with the wild 'Jeepers Creepers'. That horse can jump high and run like the wind, but he will only calm down enough to be ridden when Gabriel plays his trumpet.

Goodbye, My Fancy

Journalist Agatha Reed returns to her alma mater for homecoming, although she's more interested in renewing her romance with an old flame who's now the college president. Their attempts at rekindling any sparks are thwarted by the arrival of another rival for her affections and the showing of her controversial film which could put her former beau's job in jeopardy.


Grand Central Murder
    Starring: Van Heflin & Patricia Dane

A convict being escorted in for retrial escapes at Grand Central and threatens his old girlfriend on the phone. She flees for her new beau's private railcar at the same station. When she is then found murdered the cops round up a motley group of suspects including the escapee, several guys feeling sore at the way the gold-digging broad had treated them, some jealous dames, and a private eye already on the case. Inspector Gunther soon has a problem - enough evidence to fry all of them.

In this hilarious western farce, a bogus preacher, a Mexican gang and all the local outlaws try to break into a well-guarded bank.


The Great Garrick
    Starring: Olivia de Havilland, Lana Turner & Brian Aherne

Real-life 19th-century British actor David Garrick makes a disparaging remark aimed at French actors on the eve of visiting the Comedie Française in Paris. In retaliation, the company at the Comedie Française decide to embarrass the Great Garrick and send him back to Britain shamed and ridiculed. Taking over the Adam and Eve Inn where Garrick is scheduled to stay, they put on an elaborate show designed to scare Garrick out of his wits. The great actor becomes suspicious and foils their plans, winning the heart of the Countess Germaine–the only guest at the Inn who is not involved in the actors’ machinations in the process.

A heart warming holiday story about a New York family who is down on their luck at Christmas time. Rupert the Squirrel (created using George Pal's Academy Award winning animation technique) will charm young and old alike. Jimmy Durante shines when he sings Jingle Bells and other well-loved Christmas carols in the evocative voice that made him one of America's recording legends.



Great Scout & Cathouse Thursday

Sam Longwood, a frontiersman who has seen better days, spies the gold-mine partner, Jack Colby, who ran off with all the gold from a mine they were prospecting fifteen years earlier. He tells his other partners from that time, Joe Knox and Billy, and they confront Colby demanding not only the thousand dollars he took but an addition fifty-nine thousand for their trouble. After being thwarted in this attempt, they, and a would-be whore named Thursday, hatch a plan to kidnap Colby's wife, Nancy Sue, who is coincidently Sam's old flame, but find that Nancy Sue is not the sweet girl that Sam remembers


The Greatest American Heroine

Although meant to be aired as the final episode of “ The Greatest American Hero “ TV series, it was never to be. This pilot for a proposed spin-off from that successful show, was relegated to run as the final episode for the series in syndication only, as the ABC passed on this idea to continue the story.

Sophie loved Edmund, but he left town when her parents forced her to marry wealthy Octavius. Years later, Edmund returns with his son, William. He kills a man in a fight, and Edmund helps him flee to New Zealand. The Guns of Fort Petticoat

Murphy deserts the Union Army to warn former Texas neighbors of impending Indian attacks triggered by Army massacre. He overcomes initial distrust and convinces the homesteaders (all women whose men are away fighting in the Confederate Army) to take refuge in an abandoned mission. He trains them to fight and shoot in anticipation of the attack. The only other man at the mission runs away to save his scalp and ends up leading the Indians back to the mission. Surrounded and outnumbered, the defenders prepare for the final assault.
