2 Weeks in Another Town
    Starring: Kirk Douglas, Edward G. Robinson, Syd Cherise

The film industry swallows actor Jack Andrus, (Kirk Douglas in his Van Gough mode), up into a mental depression. He gets a call to join a film crew in Rome and ventures out into a world of Hollywood egos and movie mongrels, pushing him that little bit further over the edge. Based on an Irwin Shaw book.

3 Bad Men
    Starring: George O'Brien, Olive Borden & Lou Tellegen

Three outlaws come to the aid of a young girl after her mother is killed. An outstanding example of the silent western and one of John Ford's earliest triumphs. The photography is stunning and the land rush sequences truly impressive, and while the story of redemption and sacrifice is predictable it is nonetheless still moving. This movie was remade years later by Ford himself as “ 3 Godfathers” starring John Wayne.

5th Avenue Girl

A rich industrialist feels unwanted by his wife and children so he hires unemployed Ginger Rogers to pose as his mistress. 

8 Man

After Tokyo police officer Yokoda is killed in the line of duty, his chief decides give Yokoda's body to Dr. Tani for use in a secret scientific experiment: Yokoda's brain will be transplanted into a super-powered robot body, making him into an unstoppable policeman of the future. The supercop develops problems, however, when he begins to remember his human past. Then there is the matter of Dr. Tani's other cyborg, who has become a super-powered homicidal maniac.

40 Guns to Apache Pass

The Apaches are on the warpath and the Army must defend them. Murphy's mission is to get a shipment of rifles, but it's stolen by greedy white traders with the help of mutinous soldiers.

711 Ocean Drive

Reliable Edmund O'Brien stars in this thriller as a phone company repairman who uses his electrical know-how to set up a highly efficent bookie system for a local gangster. When the gangster is shot to death by a poor schlub he's been squeezing for gambling debts, O'Brien takes over the operation. Suddenly several big boys from the "syndicate" back east come into Los Angeles to get a piece of the action. O'Brien's reach extends his grasp when he sets up the murder of one of his new partners, because the hit man decides that he should also be getting a cut of the action.
