The Quick Gun
    Starring: Audie Murphy & Mary Anders

Murphy is enroute to his home town to face up to the citizens who think he murdered the two sons of a local rancher, despite the fact that it was self-defense. Before arriving at the town, Murphy runs into the gang of outlaws he used to ride with. He finds out that they plan to rob the bank and burn the town to the ground.Murphy tries to warn the citizens, but their prejudice against him makes them reluctant to listen. But Sheriff James Best, an old friend of Murphy's, DOES believe, and he organizes the citizens to defend the town.

The Quiet American

In this adaptation of Graham Greene's prophetic novel about U.S. foreign policy failure in pre-war Indochina, Audie Murphy plays an innocent Young American opposite the older, cynical Brit, Michael Redgrave. They play out their widely different views on the prospects stuggle for the hearts and minds of the Vietnamese people in their competition over a young woman. Murphy wants to reform her and make her a typical middle class American housewife; Redgrave accepts her inability to formulate or retain a political ideal and while promising her no real future, he objects to Murphy's attempts to change her. It's not clear whether Murphy is just what he appears - a bungling Yankee do-gooder - or a deliberate agent of U.S. covert operations, but he ends up an expendable pawn in this struggle.

Quo Vadis

Returning to Rome after 3 years in the field, General Marcus Vinicius meets Lygia and falls in love with her. She is a Christian and doesn't want to have anything to do with a warrior. Though she grew up Roman, the adopted daughter of a retired general, Lygia is technically a hostage of Rome. Marcus gets Emperor Nero to give her to him for services rendered. Lygia resents this, but somehow falls in love with Marcus anyway. Meanwhile Nero's atrocities get more outrageous. When he burns Rome and blames the Christians, Marcus goes off to save Lygia and her family. Nero captures them and all the Christians, and throws them to the Lions, but Marcus, Lygia, and Christianity prevail in the end.

Rage of Angels

Based on Sidney Sheldon's novel. A young, Assistant District Attorney is used by a ruthless attorney to get his client off. In the aftermath, she is fired and almost disbarred, but fights back to become a top attorney, torn between two lovers: the attorney who set her up and a married lawyer with political aspirations.

The Raid

Barbaroosa, a pirate, frees a group of Spanish prisoners and makes them his crew. On a raid, he takes as a prize a Spanish countess, Alida. He has fallen in love with her by the time he arranges for her ransom by the officer who was to marry her. Exposing her intended as a coward and a liar, he goes to ask for her hand but she has escaped, and Barbaroosa thinks she is the one who killed his aide, Peg-Leg.

The Rains of Ranchipur

India. The spoilt and stubborn Edwina Esketh comes to a small town with her husband. She falls in love with an Indian doctor, Dr. Safti. She also meets an old friend of hers, the alcoholic Tom Ransome. An awful earthquake is followed by days of rain.

A casual remark by newspaper reporter Charlie Telfer makes him change his mind. Despite the pleas from his wife Edith and brother Al, and the resultant condemnation of the press and public, Stannard goes on a nation-wide television program, displays the money and warns the kidnapper that not one cent will be paid for ransom; instead the money will be used to track down the kidnapper if Andy isn't returned unharmed. The police then find the boy's blood-stained shirt.

In response to her plea, the president sends Captain John Carroll (Tom Keene) to enforce the treaty, bring about peace and see to it that the outlaws stop stealing their land.

The Red Danube

Shortly after the end of World War II, British Colonel Michael 'Hooky' Nicobar is assigned to a unit in the British Zone of Vienna. His duty is to aid the Soviet authorities to repatriate citizens of the Soviet Union, many of whom prefer not to return to their home country. Billeted in the convent run by Mother Auxilia, Nicobar, and his military aides Major John 'Twingo' McPhimister and Audrey Quail, become involved in the plight of a young ballerina who is trying to avoid being returned to Moscow. Nicobar's sense of duty is tested as he sees first hand the plight of the people he is helping return to the Soviet Union; his lack of religious faith is also shaken by his contact with the Mother Superior.

Red River Robin Hood
    Starring: Tim Holt, Cliff Edwards & Barbara Moffett

Arriving in Red River to join their friend Chet Andrews in the ownership of a cattle ranch, Jim Carey and his pal Ike  discover that Chet has been jailed for resisting the efforts of a swindler, Scott Yager, to evict him from the ranch. Yager, through a Spanish land grant, and with the help of a crooked Judge, has proven ownership to all the land in the Red River territory. He and his henchmen have been evicting all of the ranchers who won't pay rent on their own ranches. Jim and Ike gain the confidence of a crusading newspaper editor, Sam Sterling and his daughter Carol. Jim and Ike, dressed in black robes and masks, attend a meeting ot the ranchers and offer to help them. They join Yager's gang and, following orders, collect the rent money, but then don their robes as Mr. Justice, and hold up Yager's other collectors and return the money. Jim breaks into Yager's office and finds proof that the land grant is a fake, but Yager discovers the robes worn by Jim and Ike, both as Mr. Justice, and has two of his henchmen wear them and take money from the ranchers, thus breaking their confidence in "Mr. Justice." And then, Jim and Ike are captured by Yager.
