The Bottom of The Bottle

Patrick Martin, known as P.M., is a wealthy attorney and rancher big-man-in-town in the border town of Nogales, Arizona. He returns home to find his brother Donald hiding in his garage. A former drunkard, Donald had been sent to the penitentiary five years previously for killing a man in a barroom brawl. It was in self-defense but P.M. hadn't defended his brother and he was convicted. Donald has escaped and wants his brother to help him across the Santa Cruz River into the Mexico-side Nogales, where his wife and children are in dire straits. The straits get even dier when P.M. tells him the river is flooded and it will be days before anyone can cross

To keep her there to illustrate, John gets a juvenile delinquent named Danny to play his son and show how much pressure he is under. The ploy works at first, but Greg's heart was broken by Tillie, and Martha may be the girl who makes him forget all about her.

Some nuns decide to take some girls from their Catholic girl's school on a trip from the East to California to attend some sort of convention. The Mother Superior is traditional and has to deal not only with the unruly girls but with a more progressive sister. On the trip they have a number of adventures including having their bus stall on train tracks as a train is coming, getting terrorized by a gang of bikers when they run out of gas (the progressive sister stares the bikers down) and getting caught in the middle of the filming of a western, specifically in the fight between cowboys and Indians.
